It's so fun having a daughter who loves Japan, anime and manga. It means that even though she just turned 13 years old, the party didn't have to be grown-up! So yesterday, when she had a party for her likeminded friends, the evening was filled with Hello Kitty, sushi, Pocky sticks and all kinds of cute and sweet things.

HI!! I just sent a book to you via bookmooch and thought I would stop by to say hello! I just watched Ponyo with my two younger children - has your daughter seen it yet?
Hi Corinne! Ponyo is only just coming to Finland this month, so she hasn't had a chance to see it yet. I'm sure she can't wait though :)
I hope she likes it - my kids LOVED it!
