Hakkapeliitta fair

Weeks ago I went with my mother-in-law and my son to Mustiala, a small town near Forssa. I've been so bad at updating this blog that it really was weeks ago! But if you're in the neighbourhood next year, I really recommend the Hakkapeliitta fair. The Hakkapeliitta were light cavalrymen (in the 1600's) who rode Finnhorses and were known for their fast and savage attacks.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and I think it's a fun event to attend. Here are some pics so you can get the idea.
