A start!

I've been an avid reader of my dear chum's four blogs (hello Brunei!), so when she suggested I should keep a book blog I really started thinking that it could be a good idea! I've ordered so many books from bookdepository.co.uk lately, that I should share them with you all. But since I have other passions as well, I'm going to make this a blog about life in general. The name 'Sandals and snowshoes' comes from the two countries close to me. Sandals for Malaysia which I long for and Snowshoes for Finland where, due to the circumstances, I live. So dear reader, welcome and enjoy!
